Google Apps for your Domain

June 26th, 2007

Recently this week, I finally got the time to sit and finish setting up a Google Apps account for my domain use-ability.net!

Setting this up is basically a simple process that can be finalized in like 15-20 minutes, what might take some time is the DNS sync and MX changes on your domain, but it took less that 3 hours for me to get it up and running i guess thanks to my current DNS host! Setup options are so flexible and easy to follow and thesupport provided from Google Apps help is simply fantastic and well documented.

At the end you will end up having mail, calender, docs and spreadsheets applications from Google associated and serviced to your own domain plus some other useful beta services such as Google talk chat and a starter webpage builder.

It a free service from Google like the rest of Google’s services that we’re all used to “have & demand” :) and of course you can get the best of it by registering for premium accounts for like nothing a year…

Check it out!

Way to go Gooooogle!
