Technorati is an Internet search engine for searching blogs, competing with Google, Yahoo and IceRocket. As of April 2007, Technorati indexes over 75 million weblogs. The name Technorati is a portmanteau, pointing to the technological version of literati or intellectuals.

What are meta tags? It’s a piece of information inserted into the “head” area of your web pages. Other than the title tag, information in the head area of your web pages is not seen by those viewing your pages in browsers. Instead, meta information in this area is used to communicate information that visitors may not be concerned with.

A sitemap is a way of organizing a website, identifying the URLs and the data under each section. Previously, the sitemaps were primarily geared for the users of the website. However, Google’s XML format was designed for the search engines, allowing them to find the data faster and more efficiently.

SeoDigger is aimed at helping webmasters with search optimization. It allows user to analyse which keywords can be used to find given domain in Google search engine.

Earlier on May 2007, Google had announced the release of the new improved version of the Google Analytics reporting interface. the reporting interface has been redesigned for clarity, greater visibility of important metrics, and ease of use.
